MyJuiceCo Diet Plan Header

The MyJuiceCo diet plan is designed to help you achieve your weight loss goal in the shortest possible time.  Our plan is flexible and unlike other diet plans, we know that the most successful way to lose weight and most importantly to keep the weight off, is to have a balanced diet plan that includes real food, combined with meal replacements. Even better all our shakes and soups contain a unique blend of fruit and vegetables, vitamins and minerals, helping you to achieve your 5-A-Day goals.

Each day have 2 or 3 shakes or soups as meal replacements (for example breakfast, lunch, mid-afternoon snack), plus 400-600 calories of real food that you prepare yourself.  You can mix and match flavours in all our packs to give variety through the day.

To achieve your 5-A-Day goals and get extra fruit and vegetables in your diet, include a MyJuiceCo Juice Boost Mixed Berry drink at any time of the day.

You can also include the MyJuiceCo Teatox in your plan, with 1 Daytime tea each day and 1 Bedtime tea every other day.  MyJuiceCo Teatox is an intensive detox designed to speed up your metabolism whilst cleansing and detoxifying your digestive system.

  • For men - we recommend 3 shakes a day to maximise protein intake, with 56g of protein included with 3 packs.

"I am 2 stone into a 3 stone weight loss journey and without a doubt I wouldn't be at this point without myjuiceco's support, encouragement and great products. I've loved the structure of the diet whilst also being able to be flexible when needed - holidays, parties, general Friday nights! My success has been down to limiting my food choices for 2 of my 3 meals a day - perfect food me as I struggle to stop eating once I've started. Without MyJuiceCo my impending 40th birthday would be seeming like something to dread not something I'm looking forward to going shopping for." Nikki

How does my 400-600 calorie food allowance work?

Your 400 - 600 calories food allowance is yours to do what you want with and you can use them at any time in the day.  Treat it like an allowance and use it in a way that best suits your lifestyle. If you're used to having milk in your tea and coffee then you can continue to do so but keep it down to a minimum.

If you go a little over one day don't stress. You're aiming for around 400-600 calories a day. If it all goes a bit wrong don't panic, just focus on minimising any damage the rest of the day and then get back to it tomorrow.

What is the Juice Boost?

Whilst we all know fruit and vegetables are good for us, not everyone likes them and some will want to consume more; so another way of increasing your intake is by having a MyJuiceCo Juice Boost Mixed Berry flvour drink each day. These little nutritional powerhouses include 20 different types of superfoods and fruits, and are so low in calories and packed with goodness you don't have to worry about counting them as part of your daily food allowance.

What type of food should I eat?

As a guide then you should aim to include some protein and vegetables or fruit in your meal. You're free to enjoy carbs if you wish but try where you can to make these healthier choices such as wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta and brown rice and don't make these the main element of your meal. There are a number of fantastic free resources available online such as MyFitnessPal or the calorie checker available on the NHS Choices website

Super busy or not much of a cook? Not a problem, there's no reason why you can't enjoy some readymade foods as part of your plan. Most major supermarkets offer healthier low calorie ready meals or protein choices you can reheat and use as the main element of your meal. These choices can tend to be lower in nutrition than a home cooked meal so try if you can to add one or two servings of vegetables alongside them. You don't need to say no to a meal out, simply check out the menu online before go (or ask to see the restaurants nutritional information book) and choose wisely.

What about drinks?

Making sure you're well hydrated is an important part of your plan. In fact you'll lose weight better, the plan is easier to stick to and you'll feel more comfortable when you ensure you're not neglecting your fluid intake. Plain water is best (still or sparkling) as we've found the best weight losses tend to be achieved in those who drink more plain water. Milk in tea and coffee can really add up (250ml of semi-skimmed milk is over 100 calories) so try to keep these down to one or two cups a day and count your milk if you're having more than a tiny splash.  There's no magic amount that's right for everyone when it comes to fluid intake so be guided by your thirst. Aim for around 2 litres of water per day (plus what's in your MyJuiceCo shakes and soup) for good health.

Why Is Exercise Important?

Exercise regularly to boost metabolism, burn calories and facilitate weight loss. Engage in 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity five days per week, such as biking, walking, jogging or taking a group aerobics class such as indoor cycling, for example. Those endorphins will start to make you feel great and help you to tone up as you lose the weight.

You should always consult your GP before embarking on any new exercise program, particularly when you are overweight or have not exercised for some time.

Need Some Extra Help?

Be careful not to over eat

Eating too quickly can lead to weight gain. It takes our brain 20 minutes to recognize that we have had enough to eat. Make sure your plate sizes and servings are not too big that you are having extra calories without realising it.

Make sure you eat enough and eat regularly

If you don't fuel your body your metabolism will slow down leading to weight gain. A lack of food results in your body going into starvation mode, you'll inevitably feel grumpy and tired. Fuel your body correctly and focus on nutrient rich calories, with regular meals, periods of starvation will invariably result in eating more calories to compensate for the time when you haven't eaten.

Overestimating calories lost

80% of our body weight is determined by what we eat. Exercise is hugely important to improving health and weight management, but can lead to an overestimation of what has been lost. Always remember it can take 30 minutes to burn 200 kcal, but 30 seconds to add that back in.

Make sure you get enough sleep

7 to 8 hours sleep a night is essential to allowing your body to recover and can have significant benefits to your weight. Research has demonstrated that people who have only 4 to 6 hours sleep a night tend to experience higher levels of weight gain and difficulty losing weight. With too little sleep our bodies crave energy, so we have a tendency to eat more.
